a living prayer for land back

in our lifetime

A NOTE ON PRAYER

I don’t believe in passive, noncooperative forms of prayer where its a one-sided conversation, and we just ask for what WE need & want when we need/want.

I believe in prayer as a reciprocal act, conversation & process. I believe in our actions & lives as a living prayer so to pray for Land Back for me, is to take actions towards it. as a spiritual person, my perspective is summed up by the words of author, Donald Miller: “what I believe is not what I say I believe. what I believe is what I do.”

the effects of colonization continue to this day & as benefactor of this harm against native communities, I offer my services free-of-charge for Two-Spirit & Indigenous folks.

as a diasphoric settler on stolen land & as my commitment to actively participating in mutual aid movements, 10% of annual profit from my services will be forwarded to the Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio. this restorative justice is the real rent we should be paying in my opinion.

this initiative is inspired by the wonderful hilot practitioners of Bangka Healing Arts [based on Wurundjeri & Bunurong lands] who I met in hilot study group year
